Monthly Satsang - Coming Together as Community.
“Satsang” is a combination of two sanskrit words: sat meaning “Truth” and sanga meaning “in company of”. So when we gather for satsang we are coming together in the company or community of Truth.
The Yoga Academy of North America (YANA),are delighted to be host these monthly informal gatherings of spiritual reflection, discussion, meditation and other practices to support each other on the journey of living yoga from moment to moment.

Brightening your Light through Sadhana ~ with Sn. Karunadhara
How daily Yogic practices can help support your wellbeing through darker times
In this 1.25-hour monthly satsang session, Sannyasi Karunadhara (Kris Fondran) will discuss common obstacles to maintaining a regular sadhana and explore how even a small, consistent practice can make a meaningful difference.
Drawing on teachings about sadhana from Sri Swami Sivananda and Sri Swami Satyananda, Karunadhara will also share personal anecdotes from her own experiences.
Participants are encouraged to ask questions and share their own strengths and challenges with their personal sadhana.
The goal of the session is for everyone to leave with renewed inspiration and guidance to sustain a more positive mindset as we approach the darker days of the year.
The satsang will conclude with a short Yoga Nidra practice.
