Guru Poornima

The word “guru” means “remover of darkness” and “purnima” is the full moon.”Guru Purnima is held on the full moon at this time of the year to honor the process of removing the darkness within that prevents us from reaching our highest potential.

The program will include a havan (fire ceremony with chanting), followed by kirtan (call & response singing), prasad (fruit & sweets) and social time. Attend in person or online and experience this ancient ritual that transcends the intellect and connects you with your heart.
